THE INGREDIENT REVEAL
Ask where any ingredient in this pack came from. We'll tell you exactly.
The mango is Malda, from Samastipur. The chilli is Banarasi, from Ballia. The oal comes from Jalpaiguri, in Bengal. The garlic, ginger, and tomato are bought fresh from local mandis in Darbhanga — the same market Kalpana Jha has shopped in for years.
Nothing here is a supplier code. Every ingredient has a place it came from, and someone who chose it.
WHO ACTUALLY MAKES THIS
Three decades of pickling. A business for five years. A team that's grown to fifty.
Kalpana Jha had been making pickles for over three decades before she turned it into a business in 2020 — starting with four other women in Darbhanga.
Five years on, that kitchen has grown to more than 50 women, most of them from the same district. For many, this was their first paying job. They've stayed for years, not months — because pickling the traditional way isn't fast work. Every jar is still hand-mixed, oil-sealed, and sun-cured the slow way, built on thirty years of knowing exactly how it's meant to be done.
Five jars, five processes
It's easy to print "traditional recipe" on a label. Harder to actually follow the process that earns it.
Here's the one thing that makes each jar in this pack genuinely traditional, not just labelled that way:

QUESTIONS
Before you order
Does this pack contain garlic?
Yes — two of the five jars (Garlic Ginger Green Chilli Mix and Tomato Garlic Chilli Chutney) contain garlic. Want to skip it entirely? See the No Garlic version.
Why is the Tomato Chutney's shelf life different from the rest?
Four of the five jars are sun-cured in mustard oil and salt, which is why they last 18 months. The Tomato Garlic Chilli Chutney is the exception — it's slow-cooked with vinegar instead, because tomato's water content can't be preserved with oil and salt alone. That gives it a 12-month shelf life, still well within normal pantry standards, just shorter than the other four.
Will every jar taste exactly the same, batch to batch?
Almost always, yes — but not with lab-level precision. Since there are no chemicals or stabilisers involved, we rely on getting each batch to roughly 95% consistency with the last, backed by a tasting check before anything ships.
How long does delivery take?
3–7 days, delivered pan-India, free shipping.
What payment options do you accept?
Both COD and UPI at checkout.
How should I store these?
Cool, dry place — not the fridge. Stir before use and always scoop with a dry spoon.
Are the jars travel-friendly?
Yes — sturdy, reusable 150g plastic jars, easier to carry than glass.
6,00,000 kg of pickle made — one named jar at a time.
Five flavours, five places, five people behind them. Start with the pack that lets you find your favourite before you commit to the full-size jar.
