PICKLE 1 / Garlic, Ginger, Green Chili Pickle

Tastes: Medium Spicy, Salty, Tangy, Chatpata
Color: Is yellow, and brownish.

 

A burst of Indian flavors - Jhaji's handmade mix pickle is prepared with (almost) equal quantities of garlic, green chilli, and ginger. Pair it with pipin' hot parathas to make a perfect morning!

Tastes: Extremely, Tangy, Sour & Slightly Masaledaar.

Oal (Jimikand/ Suran), Crushed Green Chilli, Ginger, Lemon Juice, Amchoor, Mustard Oil, Mustard, Coriander Powder, Cumin, Carom Seed, Fenugreek, Fennel Seeds, Black Cumin Seeds. Nigella Seeds. Turmeric, Asafoetida, Black Salt, and Salt.

 

PICKLE 4 / Chatpati Imli Chutney

Tastes: Spiced, Sweet, and Tangy
Color: Is dark brown

The classic Indian chutney, with a slightly thick and smooth texture, serves along with your evening snacks pakora, dahi vada, samosa, and aloo tikki chaat. 

Ingredients used in Chatpati Imli ki Chutney

Include Imli, Sugar, Carom Seeds, Nigella Seeds, Fenugreek, Fennel Seeds, Red Chilli Powder, Dry Ginger Powder, Salt, Black Salt, and Sugarcane Vinegar.

 

PICKLE 5 / Gobi Shalgam Panchranga Pickle

Tastes: Tangy, Spicy, and Chatpata
Color: looks brown & takes darker shades as the pickle matures.


Made by combining 5 winter ingredients, this classic Bihari pickle adds tangy, spicy, sour, and salty flavours to your everyday breakfast or late-night paranthas. Open, stir, and take out a spoonful to relish this Panchranga!

Ingredients used in Gobi Shalgam Panchranga Pickle

Includes Gobi, Shalgam, Green Chilli, Gajar, Adrak, Mustard Oil, Turmeric, Mustard, Carom Seeds, Cumin, Red Chilli Powder, Fenugreek, Fennel Seeds, Nigella Seeds, Asafoetida, Coriander Powder, Aamchor, Lemon Juice, Black Salt, and Salt.


PICKLE 6 / Kathal (Jackfruit) Pickle

Tastes : Spicy and Tangy
Color: Is dark brown, and takes darker shades due to high iron content

One of the tastiest Bihari pickles, soft chunks of Jackfruit blended in rich spices and mustard oil. The right balance of spicy and tangy. Made by steaming the Jackfruit before sun-drying.

PICKLE 7 / Lal Mirch Bharua Pickle

Tastes: Tangy, Spicy, Sour, and Salty
Color: Is dark red/brown, takes darker shades as pickle matures.

Made from thick, fresh, tender, bright red chillies, JhaJi's Lal Mirch Bharua Achar is a must have pickle prepared in traditional Bihari style using a rich blend of spices, and very limited mustard oil.

Need improvement to have a feel of dadi maa pickle.

Specially aam and red bharwa chilli need to be made bihari style.
Aam can should look black like it has been stored for long pl plan storage for long tine to have such looks and taste in all pickle which no one gives

I liked Amla, Jackfruit and Mirchi bharua more. Pachranga was similar to that already available in market.
Suggestion: The Oal Barobara pickle could have been better if it was not grated. Small Pieces
of oal could do the trick.

Overall, all pickles tasted good.
